Although there are usualĺy lines, in my opinion it is worth the wait and many agree.
If you are looking for high quality home made ice cream with a wide selection of regular and exotic flavors then this is the place to go. I have been coming to this seasonal favorite since I was a child and it is better than ever. In addition to ice cream they also offer a variety of good food with ample seating. Over the years it has expanded and you can play miniature golf, use the batting cage, ride bumper boats, play games and other activities. Corporate outings can be booked here in season as well.
This place was much more affordable than I thought. We got the 5+Ice cream passes for ~$35 a person. The bumper cars were a personal favorite but it was a great price for the ability to do so many things. Make sure to visit the animals! The ice cream line was monstrous at 8pm when we got in line and honestly it wasn't worth the wait (I got choc choc truffle) but the bracelets offered us a great variety and we were able to get large sundaes. Overall it was a great experience!
This is a great destination for family fun.
Peppermint Stick flavor was delicious. I will definitely order it again. Portions of fish & chips were very large and looked and smelled awesome.
The bumper boats were a little overpriced at $8.00 per person for a few minutes ride. Zip line was $10.00 per person for a 2 minute ride.
I had my wedding there with all you can eat food, ice scream, and unlimited play on most games/rides. Great photographer from Kimball's, Tim Barrett, shot our wedding. Couldn't ask for more. Yes, Kimball's is open for individuals to come play and eat as well. Must see.
Awesome place, really nice family and country atmosphere. Most people might associate a place like this with the summer but We just went today and I thought it was a lovely mild autumn day outing; not too hot or cold and the foliage made it look even prettier especially with the country and mine-style architecture/theme around the farm. I had fish and chips which was ok, the rest of my family had burgers which they said were really good; they come with a slice of watermelon which was sweet and a choice of chips, slaw or potato salad. Ice cream is delicious too! The store is huge and has just about everything you could want from a New England country store and then some. The mini golf course is big and has a nice theme/scenery to it.
The 4 stars is for pricing, it’s kind of steep. $8 to see a tent with some animals in it; if you think about the price of a zoo and the amount of animals you get to see it really feels like it should just be included or $2 per person? $8 for a pony ride which I thought was outrageous. Those are a few examples and I told my kids we’d just been to the zoo and I’ll take them on a pony ride for $3 when we go apple picking tomorrow. I know they have combo prices but there’s some activities we weren’t interested.
Excellent Ice Cream. Reasonably priced. Kiddie size was huge.
All in all, it’s worth checking out, but go with a plan if you’re on a budget. Very inter generational, activities for everyone and you could spend the whole day if money isn’t an object.
