This pharmacy is wonderful. The staff is helpful and caring. They take time to explain information about the insurance or medication. Always fast and efficient.
I have had problems with Rite Aid in the distant past (1 yr ago) but tried them again after they offered a gift card with a transferred prescription. I took a bottle to them and did not notice that I had no refills. The pharmacist faxed my doctor to send a refill (even though they would not offer the gift card unless it was a "transferred" item. I told them I didn't want them to fill it if it was not part of the gift card offer. They have now left it as "not picked up" and my insurance would not fill the new prescription at my local pharmacy that I normally use. This is a disaster - I have been out of my meds for a week now. The pharmacy is now seeing what they can do with my insurance company to get this reversed. This is why I do not do business with this Rite Aide. They always have problems of some sort there, one time they forgot to order the meds I needed even when I gave them 4 days to get it. Finally a pharmacist named Mary called my insurance company and got it worked out, she was good. Not a good pharmacy overall if you ask me.
